Shepard Family Grace Church believes deeply in the call to world evangelism. We support a variety of missionaries and special projects, both foreign and local. It is our vision to plant new local churches in our area as well as enable the establishment of local churches world-wide under national pastors. Our teens participate in local missions projects during the year and are also sent on mission's trips to gain first-hand missions experience.

Missionaries and Locations

Here is a list of our supported missionaries, their missions agency and location where they are serving. Please remember to pray for them throughout the week:

Bjorklunds Phil & Mimi Bjorklund -WorldVenture, Cote d’Ivoire West Africa. Directors of Journey Corps West Africa. Journey Corps is a one or two year opportunity for young adults to live and serve in families, communities and churches in Cote d’Ivoire. Phil and Mimi’s mission statement is “Develop next generation leaders for church and mission”. By mentoring these young adults (aka Journeyers) whole communities are touch by the work of the Lord in their lives. The same happens to these Journeyers as their Ivoirean families and churches mentor them. The end result are young adults with a missional outlook on life and churches that benefit from the cultural exchange.
Dahls Jim & Janice Dahl (Lauren & Allie) - WorldVenture (The Netherlands) Bible College teacher. Jim teaches college classes in Theology & Apologetics at Tyndale Theological Seminary. Janice has been discipling women in their area along with teaching English to some village children with their two girls.
Brewers Norman & Mary Brewer (Benjamin, Nathan and Bethany) - Baptist World Missions - are involved with church planting in Albania. Their three children grew up on the mission field and two are now attending college in the states.
Shepards Ralph & Ellen Shepard - TEAM (Guadalajara, Mexico) Church planting. They have been training leaders and the apprentices of their home fellowship groups while they recently served God in Peru. One of their main roles is to develop a greater heart and vision for evangelism.
Selbys Saul and Karen Selby - Missionary Evangelism to Corrections (MEC) is committed to sharing the gospel in St. Paul and Minneapolis county jails. Serving 18 Jails, MEC has over 250 volunteers who either do direct ministry or pray for inmates. They put on about 85 services a week that minister to about 700 inmates.
Daniel's Jerry & Sherry Daniels - BBFI - have served as missionaries in Kenya since 1974, where they have had a part in establishing more than 50 churches in four distinct cultural groups. Their ministry includes Bible Colleges, Christian Schools, Youth Camps, Orphan care and discipleship.
Lisa Inlow Lisa Inlow - Child Evangelism Fellowship Greater St. Croix Area. This ministry reaches out to evangelize children in our local area through a booth at the fair, GoodNews Clubs, (some Clubs even meet in schools after hours.)
David Nelms David Nelms - The Timothy Initiative is an international church planting organization which was established with the purpose to train and equip “Timothys” (Pastors/Church Planters). We specifically target church planters lacking the means and/or availability to receive a balanced Biblical and theological training throughout Asia, Africa, and the Americas. Each church planter trained is expected to plant at least one multiplying and reproducing church in their region.
