Children's Ministry

Objective The greatest need of the next generations is to know and cherish the infinite value of God. Therefore, we want them to become so saturated with the Word of God that they treasure Jesus alone as the One who saves and satisfies the heart. The goal of our curriculum is to fuel spiritual desire by exalting the greatness and worth of God and His glorious work through Christ.

Sunday School Our children's Sunday school program uses a curriculum called "Children Desiring God." Each class has two grade levels and their own theme. For instance the theme for the 3rd-4th grade class is "The ABCs of God - A Study for Children on the Greatness and Worth of God." Right thinking about God is essential for the life of faith. Using the alphabet as a framework for teaching the attributes of God, this study explores the delight that God has in Himself as the source, means, and purpose of all things. Each lesson asks and answers three key questions, "Who is God?" "What is He like?" and "How should I act toward Him?" as it presents a theology of God for children. The child who is in our Sunday School ministry from preschool through 12th grade will gain a thorough foundation for life. Bring your child and plant the seed that will last forever.

Children's Church We offer a Children's Church every week during the Worship Service. Children participate in the regular worship service for all the singing and then head off to Children's Church during the sermon. We offer a Children's Church for 2 & 3 Year olds and then another one for those ages 4 through 3rd grade. This is a time where children hear Bible stories told in a way that they can understand and remember them. We incorporate puppet shows, crafts and game times to hold the interest of the young children and give them something to take home.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Prov. 22:6
